"C" is our letter of the week! Today we had lots of fun learning words that start with the "c" or "k" sound! This week we were learning about both "c" and "k" because they make the same sound!!
We made a spider web by:
- sitting in a circle
- whoever started with the yarn said a word that starts with "c" or "k"
- then they grabbed onto one piece of the yarn and passed it to a friend across the circle
- that friend would say a word that starts with "c" or "k," hold onto a piece of yarn and pass it to a new friend!
We continued this until we all were holding a piece of yarn!! Look at our spider web!! We were all a part of it. Here are some of the words we came up with:
- can
- cupcake
- cake
- kite
- clock
- corn
- catch
- car
- cat
and more!! Tonight, think of some words that start with "c" or k" and makes the /k/ sound!! See how many you can think of as a family!!
