January and December - Long Overdue!!!!

Ah - finally! It's been a long time since I've blogged last. December was so busy and it flew by! And now it's already the second week in January! Look below to see what we've been doing lately!! Daily 5 - We recently started something new with Daily 5! One of the centres is "Meet with Teacher" and we've began making WORDS!!!! Together, the students and teachers (or parent helpers) will make words! We sound them out slowly, put the sounds all together, try saying the word, and then we have to copy it down our white boards! We LOVE using the white boards and fun markers!

And of course - Centre Time fun!! We are always playing with new friends and working on our social skills. We've come a long way since September!

He made the words "sap" and "no" and made a repeating pattern with colours using the letters "ioex" but the pattern: orange, yellow, orange, yellow" Good work!!!
