Today we learned all about Groundhog Day!!!
We started with our morning routine (today is the FIRST day at school in February!!)
Then we learned about our word wall for February! It has "Groundhog Day" words and "Valentine" words on it! They have magnets on the back, so we can grab a card, take it to our desk, write it down, and return it to it's place on the whiteboard! We LOVE it!!
Then we watched a video about Groundhogs and pretended being a groundhog! We could either see our shadow, run and hide and learn that we have 6 more weeks of winter, OR, we didn't see our shadow and we came out to find food!!! We had a lot of fun!
AND.... We hit over 4,500 views on our blog! WOW! Our next goal is 5,000!!!
